In questions of migration, a sense of conditional inclusivity prevails in German society. Even though the issue remains riddled with conflict, opinions are less black and white than often suggested.

In this article with Steffen Mau and Thomas Lux, we summarize findings on migration-related conflicts from our book Triggerpunkte. It appeared in the German Research Council’s (DFG) magazine “German Research” (2024/1, 8-11).
